The American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AAPRA), in partnership with the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), named City of Allen’s Parks and Recreation Department a finalist for the third consecutive year for the National Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management.

Bring Your Event to Allen
Allen City Council has approved a development agreement for the construction of The Convention Center at Watters Creek. The $85 million, four-star facility will be built at Bethany Drive and North Central Expressway. It is projected to open in January 2017.
